Kingston Lions Basketball 2023/24 Training schedule

We are very pleased to run our Junior club teams who are representing Lions in the CVL (Central Venue League) and the NBL (National Basketball League).

Boys teams:

U10 Boys CVL: Current Year 5

  • Training 1: Monday 5:30-6:30pm @Coombe Girls School 
  • Training 2: Wednesday 5:30-6:45pm @Richard Challoner School

U11 Boys CVL: Current Year 6

Competitions below:

The CVL is a Surrey county league ranging from U10 to Seniors, with fixtures taking place every 3/4 weeks on Sunday mornings from October to April. Lions use CVL as a valuable development environment for young players, as rules encourage participation, all players are guaranteed game-time.

League fixtures, results and standings can be found on the Surrey Basketball League Website.

The NBL is the top age-group competition in the country. Leagues are regionalized with a home/away fixtures taking place over the weekend throughout the season (October to April). Lions use NBL as a development tool for high-level players or those with the potential to be high-level players.
