Coach Andrew
Head Coach U10 Boys, U12 & U16 Girls teams
Level 3, Coach Andrew launched the Kingston Lions Basketball club in January 2019 and is currently the Head Coach of the U10 Boys, U12 U16 Girls teams. Not only did Andrew represent England U16/U18 at the European Championships, he also played professionally for numerous years and won 3 Gold medals and 2 Silver medals. Over the past 10 years, Andrew has concentrated on his coaching career and has build up an impressive resume through coaching multiple teams around the World from Junior to Senior, teaching in schools, winning 3 Gold Medals, 1 Silver Medal and multiple Surrey/London League Titles.

Head Coach U16 Boys team
Level 2, Coach Joaquin joins us all the way from Barcelona and brings over 20 years of coaching basketball experience to our club ! Before moving to Epsom with his family, Joaquin coached many promising teams from Junior to Senior whilst reaching multiple National Finals and becoming a regular top contender in Spain. Joaquin’s coaching philosophy is to always put his players development first with many who then progressed to play in the Top European Professional Competition “Euroleague”, representing FC Barcelona, Joventut de Badalona and the National Spanish team.
Coach Shanice
Head Coach U12 & AC U16 Boys teams
Level 2, Coach Shanice is currently our U12 Boys Head Coach & U16 Boys Assistant Coach. Born and raised in London, Shanice played for “Barking Abbey” a top Women’s Academy for the best players in the Country. Shanice was then selected to represent England U16 and Great Britain U18/U20 at the European Championships. Shanice received a Full Scholarship to play in America for the NCAA Division 1 Louisiana State University ! She also played professionally in Germany last year before relocating to London to play for the London Lions Women’s team.
