Our mission
Welcome to the Kingston Lions Basketball website ! Our mission is to promote and develop the sport of basketball throughout the Kingston Upon Thames & Merton boroughs.
Basketball is a fantastic sport for young children, helping them develop life long skills such as agility, coordination, discipline, team bonding and confidence. The Lions coaching sessions encourages this development in a fun, safe, enjoyable and competitive environment. Watch our presentation video
Kingston Lions Full Talent Pathway – U9 to U18 (Boys/Girls)
Our club was founded in January 2019, and with the support of the Kingston Upon Thames & Merton school sports partnerships, we have created an extensive extra-curricular basketball programme in primary and secondary schools within the boroughs See school clubs
We are also very pleased to announce that from September 2024, Kingston Lions will become one of only two clubs in the South of England to provide a Full Talent Pathway for U9-U18 (Boys/Girls) and to compete in the National Premier League competition for U12 to U18 girls ! See teams
